Hi, I’m Ringo – A Nervous but Loving Sausage Dog 🌭🐾

I’m Ringo, a little Dachshund with a big heart, though I can be a bit nervous when I meet new people or explore new places. It takes me some time to feel safe, but once I do, my playful side really shines through.

Because I’m a sensitive soul, I need a family who already understands my breed and all the quirks that come with being a sausage dog. I’ll also need a single-story home with limited stairs to help protect my long back and keep me safe.

I can’t go it alone – I must have another dog in the home. Having a doggy friend helps me feel braver and more secure, and I love to play once I’m settled. The good news? I’m also cat-friendly, so if you’ve got a feline already, I’ll fit in just fine.

With patience, love, and the right home, I’ll blossom into a loyal, playful little companion. If you’ve got Dachshund experience, another doggy friend, and a safe home for me, I think we could be the perfect match.
