The AWLQ is currently experiencing a high number of cats, kittens and the teenagers we affectionately refer to as ‘catterns’.

Due to having an extended summer, mother cats with their litters have continued to arrive at our rehoming centres. We currently have 166 cats and 237 kittens in our care, that’s 403 animals that need desexing, microchipping, vaccinating, feeding and housing until they find their forever homes.

While this has made for some fantastic KITTY CAM VIEWING we would love to see our furry felines find their families and enjoy the love that comes from being included as part of the family.

Two year old Kiarra found her forever home recently after being surrendered due to her past owners allergies. Her new owner Monika sent us photos ensuring she was very much loved in her new home.

“I adopted Kiarra recently. She has settled in very well and loves the attention and cuddles from us all, especially my two children. Credit must go to the AWLQ’s very friendly team who are doing a great job. Thank you for your help and allowing me to adopt Kiarra, WE LOVE HER!”          Monika.
